Notes Relating to Venue Capacities:

The Grand Ballroom: The Convention Centre’s largest function venue can accommodate up to 500 guests theatre and cocktail style and up to 350 guests banquet style. It can be divided into three sections, our Raffles, Kingston and Savoy function venues, providing total flexibility.

Raffles, Kingston & Savoy Function Venues: With their timber paneling and chandeliers, these three function rooms underline the Heritage Theme of our Convention Centre. All three function rooms can be individually combined, catering for any size of function. Special features are the 4.5 metre high ceilings, providing spaciousness and a state-of-the-art AV and sound system. Palmer Boardroom:  Located in the Convention Centre, seating 8, has perfect natural lighting with floor to ceiling windows and a private door leading to the Savoy Balcony which can be utilised during breaks. This room also makes the perfect secretariat room for large conferences. Savoy Balcony:  Located within the Convention Centre, perfect for cocktail and dinner parties, this balcony overlooks the excitement of Palmer Street.  This space can accommodate from 5 to 40 people, depending on set-up. Portside Function Venue: Located in the Hotel, close to our ‘Southbank Grill’ Restaurant, the Portside venue is a private function room with its own bar, restroom facilities and balcony. This function venue has bay-windows overlooking the poolside area and is ideal for dinners up to 40 guests or small meetings up to 25 guests. Poolside Boardroom: Also located in the Hotel, this intimate room features a large boardroom style table, seating up to 12 guests and floor to ceiling windows flooding the room with natural light. Tropical Poolside Area: Garden parties can be catered poolside and amidst our lush, tropical gardens. Try a tropical buffet or our chefs table menu for your group.
