This romantic retreat was once home to the Brigidine Order of Nuns at Coonamble in New South Wales before being carefully transported 600kms to where is now sits in the Pepper Tree Estate.

The 17 deluxe accommodation rooms at Convent Hunter Valley have been lovingly restored to reflect the building's charming heritage and character. Just a short stroll from the renowned Robert's Restaurant and Pepper Tree Wine tasting barn, this is the ideal place to relax and be pampered in an intimate accommodation hideaway.

Our Deluxe Rooms feature queen size beds and bathrooms containing a deep bath enabling you to immerse in the tranquil atmosphere and relax. French doors open onto deep verandahs with stunning views over the Estate - a perfect place to watch the sunset and sample the Hunter's fine wines.

Superior Room

Our Superior Rooms feature king size beds, your very own private lounge area, and bathrooms contain a deep bath for a purely relaxing experience. French doors open onto deep verandahs with stunning views over the Estate.

Brigidine Room

Completed in February 2008 and purpose-built for executive meetings, the Brigidine Room offers a private setting at the rear of the Convent. Featuring excellent natural light, a 60 inch LCD TV with data projector capability, separate toilets and a designer made boardroom table, this room is fully self-sufficient and can seat up to 20 delegates in a boardroom configuration.

 

The Sunroom

The classic Dining Room is located in the main guest building and features antique furniture and tasteful interior decoration. Exuding a grand and historic ambience, this venue is an intimate meeting room or makes for an ideal breakout room.

 The Grand Marquee

The Grand Marquee can be used for product launches, formal and informal dinners, cocktail parties and entertainment nights for up to 130 guests. The Grand Marquee is located no less than 30 metres from the Convent and is fully carpeted, has full lighting and display capabilities and has the ability to be extended in size.
