Morning Star Estate is amongst the Mornington Peninsula’s premier restaurant, functions and conference venues. It is the only venue on the Peninsula situated on the bay of its kind and delivers the ideal point of difference for any meeting or gathering.
Set amidst 22 acres of exquisite gardens, and 30 acres of vines, the century old mansion, “Morning Star” enjoys panoramic views of Port Philip Bay stretching from the Bellarine peninsula to Melbourne.
Morning Star Estate is a distinctive example of a Victorian era mansion built as a rural or holiday retreat on the Mornington Peninsula, it incorporates a variety of picturesque styles including Tudor and Gothic revival.
Morning Star Estate also has access to a Marquee and offers this option for those bigger events (Price on application)

Morning Star Estate’s Country House
Morning Star Estate’s Country House Rooms have an interesting history. The dormitory wing of the historical ‘Morning Star Boys Home’ circa 1936, was transformed into a 20 room Mt Eliza Country House, that opened in January 2002.
Originally there were 30 dormitory rooms, and a decision was made to convert every second room into two ensuites. As a consequence the size of the rooms are small compared to guests’ anticipation of accommodation these days. The Country House consists of 15 bedrooms with double beds, 4 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a spa bath. For socialising and enjoying your time here we have several living areas and various outside areas for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
