With more than 100 years of tradition and experience, the prestigious RACV City Club has earned a reputation as one of the finest clubs in the world. Positioned at the heart of bustling, cosmopolitan Melbourne the five-star RACV club’s exclusive conference and events facilities can cater for conferences, meetings, product launches, award nights and gala events.

In addition delegates can experience the distinctive club atmosphere and privileges including exclusive private dining surrounded by one of the finest wine collections in Melbourne, our elegant Members Dining Room, state-of-the-art Fitness Centre, Billiards Room and One Spa. High quality audio-visual systems, comfortable, contemporary and spacious meeting rooms, 112 smart guest rooms and innovative menus are part and parcel of the experience.

The RACV City Club was named Club of the Year in the Clubs Victoria 2009 Awards as well as winning multiple awards for its superb conference facilities, its excellent dining and wine cellar.

Notes Relating to Event Suitability:

Level 17  

Spectacular views and distinctive cuisine are fundamental in creating an unforgettable event. Our spectacular pillarless room on Level 17 is multi-configurable and can be themed to suit a wide range of events.  With exclusive use of the entire level and seating of up to 500 guests, Level 17 also features an outdoor terrace with panoramic views over Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay complementing the soaring ceilings, spacious foyer and lounge area.

Level 2   

Level 2 Bourke and Bayside Rooms are the heart of the club’s conferences and events facilities. An inviting and welcoming space there are six meeting rooms that can be booked individually or a combination of two or three rooms. Operable walls within each group of rooms enable seating of up to 180 guests. Each room is spacious, with abundant natural light, opening onto a welcoming foyer or a spacious outdoor terrace area. 

President’s Room  

Our newest addition, located on Level 1 is sure to impress! With leather-lined walls, chandeliers, RACV Club signature crockery and purpose built furnishings, the opulent surrounds of The President’s Room takes private dining to a new level of luxury. 

Wine Cellar  

Imagine having a private, intimate dinner party for up to 20 surrounded by one of the finest wine collections in Melbourne. The Wine Cellar’s beautiful vaulted ceilings, handcrafted Huon pine dining table and fully laden wine racks creates an intimate atmosphere for private functions and special occasions.

Club Conservatory   

This stylish venue is perfect for small to medium sized weddings, breakfasts and dinners or cocktails for those seeking a casual environment filled with an abundance of natural light. 


Enjoy private screenings and presentations in the luxury surrounds of the exclusive, purpose-built theatrette. In this intimate atmosphere, up to 31 guests can relax into wonderful luxury leather chairs and enjoy the latest in sound and visual technology with an uninterrupted view of the 3.76m screen

RACV City Club provides luxury accommodation for members and guests. With 112 large and luxurious rooms, and a choice of configurations including suites, family suites, doubles, twins and interconnecting rooms for families, RACV City Club caters for all accommodation needs.

Each room has the latest technology including a widescreen plasma TV, broadband internet access and room safe.
With modern appointments, spacious living areas and family-friendly features, coupled with the Club's outstanding pool, spa, gymnasium and dining facilities, and in close proximity to Melbourne's famous retail precinct, RACV City Club is ideal for overnight or extended stays.

Guests wishing to stay at the Club can be sponsored by an existing RACV Club member.
