Staff at Cumberland Lorne are BRILLIANT ! Always willing to bend over backwards to accommodate requests. I was very impressed with the service from all staff.
- The venue has an amazing location towards the top of the hill on the high side of the road with some of the accommodation rooms having spectacular views.
Function spaces have been freshly refurbished and are generally neutral throughout. The venue is suitable for a wide variety of events from conferences to weddings and spaces are both functional and flexible with a good variety of room shapes and sizes.
Point Grey boardroom on the ground floor has natural light and Horizons restaurant on the 3rd level of the conference centre looks out over the spectacular surroundings.
Catering is provided by Cater and Co. and have a focus on fresh, flavoursome food. Using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, menus are prepared in-house in consultation with clients to create dishes to suit needs, taste and budget. The ground floor has a cafe which is run independently and the food and service is great, very accessible.
Accommodation rooms are fabulous, whether it be for a conference or leisure visit, there are plenty of apartment sizes and options to choose from.

Cumberland Lorne has completed a major refurbishment of its Conference Centre, upgrading the extensive conferencing and events facilities. The project is a significant step in maintaining the property’s reputation as one of the premier conference venues on the Great Ocean Road.
Works included carpeting the entire Conference Centre, re-upholstering the 350 seat tiered auditorium and and upgrades to the accommodation apartments.
