Conference Facilities: 

The Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart features Tasmania’s largest purpose built conference and event facility, the Federation Concert Hall and Convention Centre. The venue offers seminar rooms, function and exhibition space. The Federation Concert hall is a tiered auditorium with seating for 1,100 delegates.

The Federation Ballroom can cater for up to 1,000 delegates and combines state of the art audio visual facilities, flexible catering and attentive staff. From corporate breakfast, conference day packages and imaginative themed dinners, the Hotel Grand Chancellor can tailor a package to suit.

For groups of 10 to 1,100 the Federation Concert Hall and Convention Centre offers all the amenities you would expect of a world class venue.

World renowned Staging Connections is our in house technical supplier, providing state of the art audio visual equipment and support.

Trade Shows and Conventions: 

The Federation Ballroom can accommodate up to 90 3m x 2m booths, with the Mezzanine Foyer capable of accommodating a further 30 booths. Day catering is available throughout the exhibition area.
