The Cairns Colonial Club Resort  combines the tranquility of a tropical resort with the advantages of a mainstream hotel, to create an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions in and around Cairns.

Situated on 11 acres (4.5 hectares) of tropical gardens and lagoon-style swimming pools, the resort has proven to be amongst one of the most popular resorts in Tropical North Queensland.

Airport transfers are available for all flights and arrivals, and the resort also offers a convenient shuttle service to and from the Cairns City Centre (5 minutes away), regularly throughout the day.

The Cairns Colonial Club Resort Conference Centre has been designed to create a true North Queensland experience for your delegates and guests.

The Centre is a stand alone building nestled amongst the resort gardens, and offers ample free parking and its own direct street access (Behan Street). Featuring a beautiful heritage style design, it offers the elegance and charm of a bygone era with the service and facilities of today modern age.

Each meeting room has the advantage of air-conditioning, adjustable lighting and a variety of audio visual equipment. Beautiful french doors leading out onto wide timber verandahs provide the perfect refreshment areas.

Also included in our function room family is the Somerset Room, a beautiful function room situated in the heart of the resort and gardens and only a short walk from the Conference Centre or Main Reception. The Somerset Room mirrors the grandeur and elegance portrayed in the Conference Centre.

With similar décor and atmosphere, a single flight timber staircase leads to a delightfully spacious, open planned function room, suitable to a wide range of business meetings and get togethers.

You can be assured you will receive the perfect combination of business and pleasure when you choose the Conference Centre as your preferred function venue.
