Notes Relating to Event Suitability:

Conference facilities can accommodate groups ranging from eight to 1800 delegates. The impressive pillarless ballroom with uninterrupted views from the foyer, while 15 versatile meeting spaces (eight of which offer natural light) and a myriad of unique outdoor event venues allow our dedicated, professional team to create an event with a difference.

Royal Benowa Foyer   

With soaring nine metre high ceilings and glass overlooking the beautiful manicured Podium Lawns and world-class golf course, the Royal Benowa Foyer is perfect for trade exhibitions, pre dinner functions or refreshment breaks from the Ballroom. Our superb Podium Lawns directly outside the foyer can readily accommodate a Hoeckerdome of up to 3000m and is fitting for team building or machinery displays.

Royal Benowa Ballroom  

Our impressive 1500m2 pillarless ballroom is the feature venue of the convention centre and opens out to the light-filled Royal Benowa Foyer. The Ballroom is multi-configurable and can be themed to suit any conference or event. The ballroom divides into three separate meeting being Prince, Monarch and Marquis Room. 

Norfolk Hall  

This 250m2 hall has the versatility to be sectioned off into three smaller column free rooms: Jacaranda Room, Karrie Webb Room and Norfolk Room. Located adjacent to the Royal Benowa Ballroom, this space is ideal for breakout sessions. With a ceiling 4.9 metres high, the possibilities are greatly diverse and can seat up to 250 people theatre style.

Business Centre & VIP Boardroom  

These two intimate spaces are ideal for small board meetings or conference secretariats and are located adjacent to the main function rooms. They both offer natural light and views over our gardens and Undercover Tennis Courts.

Convention Lobby  

As an open atrium the Convention Lobby offers an elegant and spacious atmosphere overlooking the golf course. Seating a maximum of 150 delegates in comfort, it is ideal for dinners, cocktail functions and wedding receptions.

An intimate meeting room with natural light, overlooking the podium lawns and caters for meetings of 10 to 25 delegates. 


Our light-filled Cypress Room has windows overlooking the resorts manicured gardens and Concert Lawns and caters for meetings of 24 to 60 delegates. 

The Boardroom  

Our Boardroom features abundant natural light, a purpose built boardroom table with opulent leather executive chairs for up to 16 delegates. 

Tennis Courts  

With all the atmosphere of being outdoors but completely covered by a large, white sail, this is the perfect location for functions with a twist. Transform this area into an ‘under the sea’ adventure or a ‘circus big top’ for groups larger than 350 people. 

Poolside Deck and Pool Area  

Our contemporary timber pool deck overlooking our chic tropical pool is a great space for a cocktail party or dinner under the stars. Complemented by tropical gardens, our beautiful raised timber deck is the perfect spot for an alfresco dinner. The deck seats 180 delegates, while the whole pool area including the deck seats 300 or 700 cocktail-style.

330 air-conditioned guestrooms at RACV Royal Pines Resort feature minibars and coffee/tea makers. Accommodations offer city, mountain, or pool views. Beds come with pillowtop mattresses and down blankets. Bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations with handheld showerheads. They also offer complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Wired high-speed Internet access is available for a surcharge. In addition to desks and complimentary newspapers, guestrooms offer direct-dial phones with voice mail. 40-inch LCD televisions have cable channels and pay movies. Rooms also include safes and blackout drapes/curtains. Housekeeping is offered daily and guests may request wake-up calls.
