With over 200 cellar doors on Adelaide’s doorstep, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to indulging in the finer things of life.  Whether it’s Shiraz in the Barossa, Riesling in the Clare Valley or bold reds in the Coonawarra, Adelaide conference centres suggest that the crisp Autumn air prepares the pallet beautifully for fire-side tastings and coulourful country tales. Sample  the best of  Australia’s most loved and awarded wines, some from vines more than 160 years old.  It is certainly the perfect season to take a leisurely drive through  the region’s  spectacular  undulating scenery.

Be transported back in time as you explore our historic cellar doors. Old wooden doorframes that lead into dimly lit cellars, discarded relics of early winemaking days and beautifully musty smells of old wine barrels soaked with dark red wine, all speak of a bygone era.

Nothing beats the charm of boutique cellar doors – breathe in the unique tone and character of each, find a new favourite and vow to return again soon.  Why not extend your adventure over the weekend and stay in one of our conference venues in Adelaide, to complete the indulgence.

Follow the advice of Conference Centres in Sydney and make a date for this world premier event! The musical version of “AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN” is set to make it’s big debut in Sydney tonight.

This is the inspiring story of love and honour against all odds and centres around the life of Zack Mayo who is left to be raised by his drunken philandering soldier father after his mother commits suicide. However, this dysfunctional dad treats him more like a drinking mate than a son and after college graduation, Zack chooses to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career through Navy Flight School.

The story chronicles Zack’s time in basic training –  friends, battles, mistakes, his inability to fully commit to  a girlfriend, Paula and the father figure he finds in Sgt. Foley. At the heart of An Officer and a Gentleman is a boys-becoming-men theme as well as that of father-son relationships and of course true love.

As a big budget musical, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN The Musical brings a bold new vision to the classic movie by adding show stopping solos, passionate duets, and dramatic scenes.

Don’t forget, accommodation is always available at a Sydney conference centre, so why not make an real occasion of it.

Make the most of the beautiful Autumn weather with a day exploring the delightful Rottnest Island.  Just a short ferry ride from Perth, this pristine setting is definitely a jewel in the crown of our sunniest state.  Countless numbers of visitors staying at Conference centres in Perth will attest to that.

Rottnest, or Rotto if you prefer the colloquial name, features some of the world’s finest beaches as well as an abundance of unique plant and animal life.  It is the home of the famous kangaroo-like marsupial known as the quokka.

As a car-free zone, Rottnest offers a very relaxed feel and its 63 sheltered beaches mean that the island is refreshingly uncrowded. Why not hire a bike and find those secluded beaches and secret surf spots over the other side of the island.

There’s a bus service and guided tours that allow you to explore the early colonial buildings and lighthouse, providing you with an insight into the island’s crucial role in World War I and II. The Rottnest Museum will further reveal the history of this beautiful island.

Scenic flights, a family fun park, tennis, lawn bowls and golf will make for great memories and if you are inclined toward the more active pursuits, have a go at kayaking, diving, surfing, boogie boarding or fishing.

Rottnest Island has a la carte restaurants, a hotel, a general store, a cafe and take-away outlets. Why not grab a snack from Rotto’s famous bakery and head to the beach, kick back and soak up the scenery .

Be sure to end your stay watching a glorious sunset over a glass of red at Hotel Rottnest which boasts one of the best beach-side views in the world.

Contact a Perth conference venue for more details on this unforgettable destination.
