The Venue Zone was founded in May 2005 and has grown to be a market leader in Victoria, displaying hundreds of venues online, suitable for conference, corporate, social and wedding events.

The new arm to the business ‘1300 VENUES’ provides a telephone enquiry service for corporate and conference clients and makes the whole venue finding aspect of your event easy as can be.

Founder, Lea MacDonald has a background in functions administration and management and understands the effort and details that are involved in making 'the perfect event'. From bookings, to table settings, seat layouts and so on, there are so many elements involved in a 'smooth operation'.

Having been involved in the administrative side as well as the planning side, it is no wonder that with the diverse responsibilities experienced, Lea has the 'right idea' when helping planners to select a suitable venues for their event.
